BASIC MANNERS

We’ll teach your dog skills to overcome challenges like barking in the house, jumping on guests, and pulling on the leash. ADVANCED OBEDIENCE 

Want to take your dog everywhere? Let’s teach your dog real-world obedience skills like holding a stay while you do yard work, and walking calmly beside you on leash through the farmer’s market. Have a professional trainer lay the foundations of training with your dog via a Jumpstart Session, so your dog has the support to work through their toughest challenges with a professional who has trained many dogs!

In this program, we will cover advanced techniques for teaching your dog to listen even in highly distracting environments, as well as at a distance from you. This program is typically completed in six private lessons. We train around everyday distractions like other dogs, people, and traffic—this way, we are teaching your dog skills for life in the real world! Included are:

• Full access to a professional dog trainer by text and email, so you always have the support you and your dog need.

• One Jumpstart Session, where your dog will make quick progress on their biggest challenges through working one-on-one with a professional trainer. 

• Skills like staying calm even in busy places, coming when called even when they are busily sniffing, holding a Stay no matter what else catches their attention, and waiting before walking through doorways.  

• Commands like Come, Place (go to one spot and practice calmness), Heel (walk calmly next to me), Sit, Down, and more.

OFF-LEASH FREEDOM

This program offers the highest level of support from your trainer AND the very best reliability from your dog! The focus of this program is to give you and your dog the skills to navigate the world together with calmness and confidence! Take in the freedom of off-leash beach walks together, since you know you can call your dog back to you with 100% reliability. Enjoy a dog who calmly joins you for dinners on the patio. Know that your dog will choose to listen to you around all sorts of distractions—and without a leash! We will fully train your dog on a low-level remote collar, which provides seamless communication both out in the world as well as at home.

Have a professional trainer lay the foundations of calmness with your dog via two Jumpstart Sessions, so your dog has the support to work through their toughest challenges with a professional who has trained many dogs! Enjoy free access to a year’s worth of group dog training classes, where you can brush up on your leash walking and obedience skills with the support of the trainer—plus other dog-and-owner teams who have successfully graduated from a Connected Canine program.
